Change Colorama Background Paper
- Stand on small or large ladder and push the manfrotto expanding end up and away from you so that it slides out of the slot in the bracket.
- Rest it on the bracket and go to the other end of the colorama roll.
- Push the manfrotto expanding end up and away from you and rest it on the bracket.
- Position yourself and the ladder so you can support the whole roll and lower it on the floor.
- Remover the the manfrotto expanding ends by holding the bracket with one hand and unscrewing the black handel on the end.
- Leave the manfrotto ends where they are and exchange the colorama paper with the new colour roll.
- Insert the manfrotto expanding ends in and turn the black handel clockwise while holding the bracket so that it expandes in side the tube.
- Put the colorama roll back up by resting them on the brackets.
- Slide the manfrotto expanding end into the slot in the bracket.
Replacing Electric Colorama Paper
- Using the paper control switch drive the paper off the roll until you can see the steel roller.
- Using a step ladder peal off the duck tape holding the paper to the roller.
- Roll up the end the surplus paper and secure the roll with a peice of duck tape.
- Place a new colorama roll on the floor beneath the electric rollers.
- Fit manfrotto expanding ends into the right and left end of the Roll.
- The loose end of the roll should be on the shoot wall side.
- Put the new roll on the lower manual brackets
- Feed the end of the colorama paper up and duck tape it to the steel electric roller. Ensuring it is pull tight along the roller so there are no creases and it is square on the roller. Attach it in about 10 places.
- Press the control button to rotate the electric roller to transfer all the colorama paper from the manual roll to the electric.
- Stop when you see the colorama carboard center.
- Push the manfrotto ends up and away from you to release the manual roll from the bracket.
- Drive the paper down to the floor and remove the manfrotto ends.
- You can use the colorama paper with the cardboard center still attached.
